At Great Faith Orphanage Home, caring for orphans and the less privileged is the major selfless act we operate with compassion, empathy, and dedication. We offer the children within our walls and beyond, love, support, and protection, to modify them to fufill serve the purpose of God.
Orphans and the less privileged face numerous challenges, including poverty, hunger, lack of education, and poor health. Without proper care and support, they may struggle to survive, let alone thrive. Therefore our main aim is caring for these individuals, and provide them a sense of belonging, security, and hope for a brighter future.
Practical ways we care for orphans and the less privileged
Mentor: We offer guidance and support to children in our home and the less privileged, helping them to build confidence and achieve their goals.
Scholarships: We make sure the children within our walls get the best education they can get.
Empowerment: We also make platforms where the children with us can acquire vocational skills to their benefit.
Supporting Widows
Our secondary service is to provide aid for widows. Seeing that widows are some of the most vulnerable members of our society, often facing financial, emotional, and social challenges. Losing a spouse can be a devastating experience, leaving women without a primary breadwinner, emotional support, and social connection, we try as much in our capacity to strech out a hand of love and support.
Practical ways we support widows
Financial Support: We provide financial assistance to help widows meet their basic needs, such as food, shelter, and healthcare.
Emotional Support: Offer emotional support through counseling, listening, and companionship.
Advocacy: Advocate for policies and programs that support widows, including access to education, healthcare, and financial services.
Community Building: Help build a community of support around widows, including connecting them with other widows, support groups, and community resources.
